Actress Michelle Williams is going to be a mom again! The Venom: Let There Be Carnage star is pregnant with her third child, her second with her husband Thomas Kail. The actress is expected to give birth this fall.
The Dawson’s Creek alum shared the news exclusively with Variety and said that growing her family is “totally joyous. She continued, “As the years go on, you sort of wonder what they might hold for you or not hold for you. It’s exciting to discover that something you want, again and again, is available one more time. That good fortune is not lost on me or my family.”
Michelle and the Hamilton director welcomed their first child together in June of 2020, a son named Hart. The Fosse/Verdon star shared with Variety what it was like to welcome a child during lockdown and the beginning of the pandemic. “It was a reminder that life goes on. The world we brought a baby into is not the world we thought we were bringing a baby into, but the baby is ignorant of that. He experiences the unmitigated joy of discovery and the happiness of a loving home.”
Michelle is also a mom to her 16-year-old daughter Matilda. Matilda’s father is the late actor Health Ledger, whom Michelle had a relationship with from 2004 to 2007. The couple met on the set of the film Brokeback Mountain.
Congratulations to Michelle and Thomas on the news of their new baby! We wish them all the best as they prepare to welcome their little one into the world.
