In May, WWE’s Alexa Bliss and musician Ryan Cabrera announced they were expecting their first baby one year after tying the knot. During a celebration at Common Ground in New York City, the couple revealed the sex of their little one.
To reveal the news publicly for the first time, Ryan held a small guitar that was painted half blue and half pink. With a few loved ones by their side, Ryan swung the guitar and broke it on a stool. Powder flew out in the color pink to reveal… it’s a girl! This party wasn’t the first time the couple learned the news of their daughter. The couple had a party with friends and family to share and learn the sex for themselves. They stood in front of a circle banner that read “Baby Cabrera” while each held a smoke popper. When they popped them, the color pink was revealed and they jumped up and down excitedly at the reveal. The couple’s daughter is due in December.
Alexa and the “On The Way Down” singer tied the knot in April 2022 after dating for two years. The wrestler shared with Entertainment Tonight that while they weren’t trying to conceive, their pregnancy ended up being “the best timing.” Ryan elaborated sharing, “What we figured out after was, like, there’s never the ‘perfect’ time. It would always be like, you know, ‘This is in the way, this is in the way.’ But what if we miss this?”
A day before announcing their daughter’s sex, Alexa gushed over Ryan on his 41st birthday. “Happy Birthday to the most amazing person I’ve ever met. Ryan you are the love of my life, best friend & the person who just makes the world such a better place to be. I can’t wait to spend another year with you trying amazing food, reality shows, playing games, coffee in robes & making each other laugh until we cry. But most of all this year I can’t wait to see what an amazing father you’re going to be . You have the kindest heart & deserve to have the best birthday ever -🤍 HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I love you.”
