Reality stars Amber Pike and Matt Barnett are parents! The couple, who met on season one of the Netflix reality series Love Is Blind, announced the birth of their first baby together. “Baby Barnett has arrived and is more perfect than anything I could’ve dreamed.”
Amber shared a close-up image from the hospital of her hand placed over her little one while she held her baby to her chest. The couple had kept the sex of their baby private during Amber’s pregnancy but revealed the news in her announcement post. “If you hadn’t guessed yet Baby B is a She and I literally still can’t believe the hospital let us take her home and that she is actually ours.” The reality ended her post gushing, “It may be the hormones but [Matt] and our baby girl have my heart so full I can hardly function, I hope this feeling never goes away.” Matt shared his own announcement post that featured a close-up of his daughter’s feet and joked in the caption, “Promoted from daddy to dad #girldad.”
Fellow Love Is Blind stars took to the comments of Amber’s post to wish the couple congratulations. Bliss Poureetezadi, who welcomed her first baby last year, referenced the feeling Amber discussed in her post writing, “Congrats!! That feeling is still here 11 months in and honestly the love grows every single day. It’s the most overwhelming wonderful thing! Enjoy!” Cameron Hamilton commented, “We can’t wait to meet her!!!” The couple announced their pregnancy on Cameron’s podcast with his partner Lauren in October.
