John David Duggar and his wife Abbie Duggar have welcomed their first child into the world. They are the proud parents of a baby girl! She arrived this past Tuesday on January 7th.
The couple have chosen to name their first child Grace Annette Duggar. They plan on using the nickname Gracie. Such a sweet name!
The couple told US Weekly of their new daughter, “Our lives have changed forever with the arrival of our baby girl. She is a beautiful gift from God. We are so blessed the Lord has given her to us. It’s still surreal to know that we are really parents but it’s a great new adventure that we are excited to take on together.”
John David and Abbie announced they were expecting in August of 2019. This Duggar couple have had quite the whirlwind romance! They began courting in June 2018. A month later, John David got down on one knee in an airplane hangar in front of a sign that read, “Abbie, Will You Marry Me?”. A few months later, on November 3rd, 2018, the couple tied the knot in Arkansas.
The new parents look very happy to welcome their new baby and are very much enjoying soaking in all the baby snuggles. We wish them lots of happiness in transitioning into their new role as parents to Gracie!
