Reality stars Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon are growing their family! The couple, who met and fell in love on Bachelor in Paradise, announced they are expecting their second baby together. “Overwhelmed as hell.”
During an Amazon Live video, Ashley and Jared shared their exciting family news. The couple’s first baby, son Dawson Dimitri, joined the live wearing a shirt that read, “big brother.” Jared explained how important it was to grow their family for their son sharing, “We want Dawson to have a sibling. That’s very important. Both of us come from families with two kids. So we wanted to give that to Dawson.” The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, welcomed their son on January 31, 2022. The Suckers podcaster went on to share, “I want that big family dynamic, but man, having so many kids is just so overwhelming. So even the idea of a second kid, it’s no longer two-on-one where we can play defense against him. Now it’s just one-on-one.”
Ashley gave an update on how the pregnancy is going for her so far sharing that it’s “been a lot easier than the other one. I had hyperemesis gravidarum last time, so that meant that basically I threw up almost every, well, I threw up multiple times a day up to about 30 weeks. And the first 16 to 18 weeks were just absolutely debilitating. So I’m just so freaking grateful that I’m not experiencing that.” While it’s not as bad as last time, the reality star admitted, “I haven’t been great. I don’t like the feeling of being pregnant. I never want to feel this again. Just don’t like it.”
Last August, Ashley opened up about growing her family on her podcast Ben And Ashley I Almost Famous. “I had such gender disappointment with Dawson,” she revealed, sharing she “had a feeling” she wasn’t pregnant with a baby girl. But, when discussing adding another baby to the family, Ashley shared that she “doesn’t care so much” about the sex of her future babies anymore. “I’d be happy if we had a boy too because then I’d want them to have that, hopefully, brother bond.”
