Bachelor alums Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon have announced the gender of their first child together! The couple revealed in July of this year that they were expecting a baby in February 2022.
The couple went live on Amazon “to show off some cute baby clothes” they got and teased that “it’ll be pretty easy for you to tell if we’re having a girl or a boy” As a PS, the reality star shared, “It’s NOT twins!” During their Amazon Live session, they revealed: it’s a boy!
Afterward, Ashley shared an image to her Instagram page that showed her and Jared holding a blue balloon that read “Baby Boy.” She joked in her caption two names the couple would not be considering, “His name will not be Tom or Brady.” The Bachelor in Paradise contestant wrote the comment referring to former Patriots football player Tom Brady and was a name that continued to come up during their live session as guesses to the name from viewers.
Ashley did reveal that she and Jared have picked out a name for their boy. “We had a name picked out for a long time for a boy.” The “Almost Famous podcast cohost also shared that she “always thought it was going to be a boy.”
Ashley and Jared got engaged while filming season five of Bachelor in Paradise in June of 2018. They tied the knot just over a year later in August 2019 in a romantic ceremony at Rosecliff Mansion in Newport, Rhode Island.
