Barbara Bush has added another bundle of joy to her family! TODAY Show host Jenna Bush Hager revealed the news, sharing that her fraternal twin sister welcomed her second baby with her husband Craig Coyne. Barbara, the daughter of former President George Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush, had not previously shared that she was pregnant.

Jenna posted the announcement to her Instagram page, sharing that her sister and brother-in-law welcomed a baby boy and named him Edward Finn. The morning show host captioned the post, “My sissy had a little mister and I fell madly in love with Edward Finn!” Jenna posted three images with her announcement. The first showed the journalist holding her new nephew and feeding him a bottle, the second image had the twins sitting together while Barbara held her newborn, and the final image was a close-up of baby Edward.

The announcement of Edward’s birth is not the first time the activist and screenwriter have had a family member reveal the news. The couple are not active on social media and the birth of their first baby was announced in a statement by former President Bush and his wife Laura. Barbara and Craig welcomed a daughter named Cora Georgia in September 2021. Similar to her second pregnancy, Barbara’s first pregnancy was private.

Barbara and Craig tied the knot in October 2018 in an intimate ceremony surrounded by just 20 people at the Bush family compound in Kennebunkport, Maine. The couple, who are notoriously private, chose the private ceremony in Maine because Barbara’s grandfather lived there. The couple did go on to have a larger ceremony one year later in Texas at Prairie Chapel, the Bush family ranch, with around 100 guests.

Congratulations to Barbara and Craig on the birth of their second baby!
