Reality star Ben Higgins is going to be a dad! The Bachelor star announced that he and his wife Jessica are expecting their first baby together. The couple also revealed their baby’s sex.

In a joint Instagram video, the couple shared clips of their relationship and then showed the couple’s journey to conceive. Some clips showed Jessica giving herself a shot, seemingly signifying the couple used IVF to conceive. The video, set to Cody Johnson’s “On My Way To You,” also featured sonogram images of their baby and sharing the news with their family. “The next chapter of our love story!” the couple shared before revealing their baby’s sex and due date. “Baby girl coming in February.”

Fellow Bachelor nation friends took to the comments to celebrate the couple’s news. Madison Prewett, who announced her pregnancy on the same day, commented, “Omg what We are pregnant twins.” Becca Tilley, who vied for Ben’s affection on season 20 of The Bachelor, wrote, “So beyond happy! That baby girl hit the jackpot with y’all as parents.” Kaitlyn Bristowe, a former Bachelorette whose season was Ben’s first appearance on a Bachelor show, commented, “So happy for you guys.”

Ben and Jessica met on social media in 2018 and went on to tie the knot in November 2021 at The Estate in Cherokee Dock in Tennessee. A year after their nuptials, the Generous Coffee co-founder discussed with E! News the couple’s plans to have children. “We’re excited for kids. I believe that, God willing, we will have kids. But right now it’s not a conversation we have often and it’s not something I believe either of us are craving. You know, you hear the ‘baby fever,’ I don’t know if either of us have baby fever right now.”

Congratulations to Ben and Jessica on the news of their pregnancy!
