Last October, actress Kaley Cuoco announced that she and her partner Tom Pelphrey were expecting their first child together. The couple’s little one made their arrival on March 30th and the actors have shared the name they chose for their newborn.
The Flight Attendant star shared a selection of images taken during her hospital stay and included the whole family dotting on the newborn. The couple, who they were dating in May 2022, had shared they would be welcoming a girl when they announced their pregnancy. “The new light of our lives,” Kaley wrote in her post after revealing her daughter’s name to be Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey. “We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle.”
Kaley went on to thank her team of medical professionals writing, “Thank you to the doctors, nurses, family, and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days. We are blessed beyond belief.” Giving a glimpse into her romance with Tom, she expressed gratitude for the new dad. “Didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did.”
The She Said star shared his own post announcing the birth of his daughter and started his caption off with a quote from Rumi. “You are the Soul of the Universe. And your name is Love.” He continued by writing, “My heart is full of love and gratitude for this miracle… Eternally grateful for the strength and bravery of my soulmate and best friend @kaleycuoco. You are incredible.”
