Billy Joel and Wife Welcome Second Daughter
Singer Billy Joel and his wife Alexis are proud parents to their second daughter, who they welcomed on Sunday.
A rep for Billy confirmed their birth, telling People.com that Remy Anne Joel was born at 7:50 p.m. weighing 7 lbs. 3 oz. Remy is of French origin, meaning “remedy.”
His rep said: “Sunday night, Billy and Alexis Joel welcomed Remy Anne into their family. Alexis and Remy are doing well, and everyone is thrilled.”
Remy is Billy’s third child – he and Alexis have a daughter, Della, and he has a daughter, Alexa Ray, with ex-wife Christie Brinkley.
Billy and Alexis were married in 2015. The singer just recently announced that he and Alexis were expecting.
