Actress Megan Boone and her husband, artist Dan Estabrook, have welcomed a little girl into the world.  The star of Blacklist took to Instagram with the announcement, sharing an uncaptioned photo of a newborn’s foot with a hospital bracelet on the ankle.

While no official announcement has been made, the former Law and Order: Los Angeles star gave her social media followers a big clue about the name of her daughter around the holidays. On December 21st, she posted a photo on Instagram showing three embroidered stockings with the names, Megan, Daniel, and Caroline.

According to babynames.com, the name Caroline is of Latin origins and means “beautiful woman.”  It was the 58th most popular name in the United States in 2014.

Boone and Estabrook became engaged shortly after learning they were expecting.  In January, Boone visited Live! with Kelly and Michael, and told the hosts: “We definitely were in it for the long haul when we made a human.”

Boone’s pregnancy was written into the story line for her Blackbook character Elizabeth Keen.  The successful show, led by veteran actor James Spader, was recently renewed for a fourth season.
