Actors Bobby Cannavale and Rose Byrne welcomed their first child together on February 1st, a boy named Rocco.
Cannavale made the announcement on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The actor joked, “You know, I didn’t do anything…and I’m so tired….I think I’ve gained 28 pounds since Monday.”
When Colbert asked if Rocco was named after the patron saint of the sick, Saint Rocco. Cannavale replied, “Pretty sure…Could be wrong. I’m tired.” Colbert then suggested Rocco was the patron saint of prizefighters. “Totally, totally. Or made guys. The patron saint of made guys.” Cannavale answered.
Rocco is the first child for Byrne and the second son for Cannavale, who has a 20-year-old son, Jake, from a previous relationship. The couple began dating in 2012 and have co-starred in three films since then: Spy, Annie, and Adult Beginners?
