British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his fiancée Carrie Symonds have announced the arrival of a son. Boris has shared that Carrie and their baby are doing very well.

Back in February, the couple announced the exciting news that they were expecting.

Boris and Carrie thanked the National Health Service team at the London hospital where Carrie gave birth for their great work in helping them welcome their son into this world. This would be the second time over a month Boris has shown his appreciation for the English National Health Service. Boris had the unfortunate circumstance of contracting COVID-19 and was treated in an intensive care unit where he spent three nights.

This new bundle of joy makes child number five (or six) for Boris. He has four grown children with his ex-wife Marina Wheeler, a barrister: two daughters, Lara Lettice and Cassie Peaches and two sons, Milo Arthur and Theodore Apollo.

Boris has denied the paternity of daughter Stephanie, who is reportedly the result of an affair he had with art consultant Helen Macintyre.

There is no news yet on what the couple have chosen to name their first child together.
