💛 3 generations of April Babies 💛

While Ruthie Ann is only just now sharing the news of her baby girl’s arrival, she revealed that her daughter was born in April by captioning the announcement “3 generations of April Babies.” The image Ruthie Ann shared was a shot of her baby girl’s feet overlayed with text that revealed her daughter’s name: Hope Elizabeth. The name Hope means “desire of fulfillment” and the name Elizabeth means “God is my Oath.” Such a beautiful name!

Hope’s birth comes just a little over two years after Ruthie Ann experienced a tragedy no mother should have to go through. In March of 2018, Ruthie Ann, who was seven months pregnant, was involved in a car accident with her five-year-old daughter Abigail Joy along with her friend Lauren Lew and Lauren’s one-year-old son Joshua. A female driver, who reportedly suffered from seizures and was ordered not to drive, crashed into Ruthie Ann’s car. Abigail and Joshua both died in the crash. Ruthie Ann was severely injured. Two months after the crash, she lost her unborn child, who would have been named Sophia.

Back in March of this year, when Ruthie Ann made the announcement on Twitter that she was expecting, she shared that “Abigail Joy and Sophia would have loved being big sisters and are loving watching their family grow.”

Congratulations to Ruthie Ann and Jonathan on welcoming baby Hope into the world. We wish them lots of happiness and good health during this very exciting time!
