In April, Real Housewives of Potomac star Candiace Dillard Bassett announced that she and her husband Chris Bassett were expecting their first baby together. The couple has now revealed the sex of their little one.

In an exclusive interview with US Weekly, the couple shared that they are expecting a baby boy! The reality star shared, “I started to feel a masculine energy. I just couldn’t deny the feeling of a sweet little boy growing inside of me.” While the couple hasn’t shared their baby’s due date, Candiace revealed, “I’m so happy to have a fall baby.”

The RHOP star shared that she’s soaking up every moment of her pregnancy with her baby boy. “It’s the most magical and indescribable experience. I think I’m actually going to miss it, but I also can’t wait to meet him and stare at him all day!” She also opened up about her pregnancy cravings, “Olive Garden spaghetti with meat sauce, Apple Jacks cereal and watermelon have been the top contenders. I’ve also had a few stretches where all I wanted was smash burgers … that was a great time.”

Candiace and Chris have been married since 2018. While this little one will be the couple’s first baby together, he is Chris’s fourth baby. He has three other children from previous relationships. The reality star has been open about conceiving her baby via IVF, a journey documented on RHOP. “I always wondered, like, how would I know when I was ready? I kind of woke up and realized that I was never going to be 100 percent ready,” she shared when announcing her pregnancy. “I just had to … trust the process and trust my doctors and stop being afraid and just do it. So once we decided together that we were going to do that — together — it just was kind of all moving by faith from there.”

Congratulations to Candiace and Chris on the news of their baby boy!
