Rapper Cardi B has announced the arrival of her second child! The “WAP” singer shared a photo from the hospital holding her newborn baby, with her husband, rapper Offset by her side.

Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, shared in her post that she welcomed her newborn on September 4th. Her newborn was swaddled in a blue blanket and appeared to be wearing a blue hat as well, which likely means she has welcomed a son. She did not reveal the name she chose for her baby but did add three emojis to her post: a dinosaur, a blue heart, and a teddy bear. These may or may not be hints as to the name she has chosen.

The couple shared their pregnancy news in June at the BET Awards. The rapper stepped onto the stage to perform with Offset and his group Migos wearing an embroidered Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit with a sheer panel in the abdomen that exposed her growing baby bump. Later that night, she posted maternity photos to her Instagram page with the caption “#2! ♥️”

Emojis in Cardi B’s post may not be the only hint regarding a baby name, given the trend of Offset’s children’s names. Cardi B and Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, share one other child together, a daughter named Kulture Kiari Cephus. They welcomed Kulture in July of 2018. Offset has three other children from previous relationships: a daughter named Kalea and two sons named Kody and Jordan. Names starting with “K” seem to be a trend. We’ll see if the couple continues with this trend with their second child.

Congratulations to Cardi B and Offset on welcoming their newborn baby! We wish them lots of love and look forward to learning the name they chose for their little one.
