Athlete Caroline Wozniacki is growing her family! The tennis player and her husband, former NBA player David Lee, announced they are adding baby number three to their family. Caroline joked in her post, “Officially switching to zone defense!”

To announce her family’s news, the Olympian shared a picture of her husband and their two children on the beach, with her daughter holding a string of sonogram images. She added in the caption, “Our family couldn’t be more excited to welcome baby #3 soon.” She didn’t reveal any details about her third baby, including their sex or when they are expected to arrive.

Caroline and the former New York Knicks player shared two children together: a three-year-old daughter named Olivia and a two-year-old son named James. The couple tied the knot in June 2019, just six months before the athlete announced she would be taking a temporary retirement from tennis to start a family. At the time, she also noted her rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis she recieved in 2018 factored into her decision. “I’ve realized that there is a lot more in life that I’d like to accomplish off the court,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

The Olympic athlete returned to the tennis court in June 2023, sharing she “still had goals” she wanted to work towards and that she wanted to be a role model to her children. “I want to show my kids that you can pursue your dreams no matter your age or role.” She continued sharing her excitement for getting back to the sport she loves writing, “We decided as a family it’s time. I’m coming back to play and I can’t wait!”

Congratulations to Caroline and David on the news of their third baby!
