Pretty Little Liars actor Chad Lowe and his wife Kim have welcomed their third daughter! The little girl arrived a few weeks early, but is healthy and happy.
The former Life Goes On star took to Instagram with the announcement, “Nixie Barbara Lowe has arrived! We’re now officially outnumbered and we couldn’t be happier! #Blessed #Grateful”
According to babynames.com, the name Nixie is of German origin and means “water sprite.” Lowe told People that the couple chose Nixie as it “seemed like a good fit because we’re both avid surfers — my wife more so than me.” Nixie’s early arrival made her a Pisces, making the chosen name even more fitting. Lowe shared that the middle name Barbara is in honor of his late mother.
Little Nixie joined two big sisters: Mabel Painter (6 1/2) and Fiona Hepler (3). The couple have been married since 2010.
