Supermodel Chanel Iman is a mother of three! The Victoria’s Secret model has announced the birth of her third baby, her first with her fiance Davon Godchaux, a defensive tackle for the New England Patriots. The couple welcomed their little one today on September 19th.
The couple shared a joint post on Instagram announcing their family news, which featured an image of the parents in the hospital with Chanel holding her newborn. Chanel and Davon, who announced their pregnancy in May, welcomed a baby girl and chose to name her Capri Summer Godchaux.
While Capri is the couple’s first baby together, they each have children from previous relationships. Chanel shares two children with her ex Sterling Shepard, whom she divorced in June 2021, daughters Cali Clay and Cassie Snow. Davon has a son named after him from a prior relationship.
The model and NFL player made their relationship public in April 2022. Shortly after announcing their pregnancy, they announced their engagement, which appears to be the inspiration for their daughter’s name. The couple became engaged in Capri, Italty. Of the occasion, Davon wrote at the time, “First of all, I can’t even lie I was nervous as hell😂 and I never thought I’ll be getting down on one knee but LOVE will make you do some amazing things in life! Chanel I love you so much and I wouldn’t have rather spend this moment with no one else by my side! From the moment we met I knew it was something about you and how much you value having a FAMILY that was really important to me! We are in this together and will always be, I love you from the bottom of my heart! My love, My fiancé, My everything!! Soon to be my wife!”
