Rapper Coi Leray is going to be a mom! The “TWINNEM” singer and her boyfriend Trippie Redd, a fellow rapper, are expecting their first baby together. “I’m a rock star mommy. We ready for 2025.”
The rapper shared a series of images to announce her pregnancy news, showing off her growing baby bump. In a few images, the “Miss the Rage” rapper cradled Coi’s bump. While Coi didn’t reveal when she was due, she did share in her Instagram Stories that she was four months along in her pregnancy. She also didn’t reveal the sex of her baby. Trippie, who was born Michael Lamar White IV, didn’t share any of the pregnancy news on his own social media pages.
The rappers first started dating in 2019 but broke up later that year. During their breakup, Trippie released a dis track about Coi, with the following lyrics: “When you got with me, you were a genius. Now without me you have to live life as an idiot.” She went on to respond to the song sharing in a podcast, “I just felt like he coulda just called me, you coulda just hit me, DM’d whoever, emailed. You coulda got the message the f–k out there because we’re very connected. You ain’t have to go ‘head and put me down like that in a song.” The couple rekindled their romance in August 2024 and the following month, the rapper revealed that he slid into the “Flava” rapper’s DMs. “We just been talking,” he shared with TMZ in September. “That’s my boo.”
