Danielle Brooks gave birth to her first child in November of 2019. The Orange is the New Black actress didn’t reveal many details about her daughter. She posted a lovely shot of her newborn daughter lying on Danielle’s stomach to announce her arrival.
Last night, the actress took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter’s 10 week birthday. The little girl was all smiles! Danielle also took this opportunity to reveal what she has chosen to name her daughter: Freeya! Such a unique and beautiful name! Danielle lovingly captioned her photo: “Our heartbeat. Introducing Baby Freeya.”
Danielle welcomed Freeya with her boyfriend Dennis Gelin. Their relationship had been kept fairly quiet before announcing their pregnancy. She only posted photos with him here and there. However, to end 2019, Dennis proposed to Danielle and they are now engaged to be married! Danielle posted a sweet image of her and her new fiancé dancing while her beautiful ring shone. She captioned the photo: “I never thought one of the best days of my year would happen the last week of the year. I get to marry my best friend. We’re ENGAGED!! So excited to become your wife. D&D until the end.” We’re so excited for this wonderful family and look forward to watching them grow!
