Former professional baseball player Derek Jeter has secretly welcomed his third child with his wife Hannah! The news was revealed on social media through Twitter. Derek’s media platform The Player’s Tribune shared the update on their Twitter feed.
“Congratulations Derek and @hannahbjeter on the birth of your baby girl,” the tweet started. The update revealed that the couple’s third daughter was born on Thursday, December 2nd. They have chosen to name her River Rose Jeter. The couple is not active on social media. Hannah has an Instagram and Twitter account but has not shared any new updates since June 2, 2020.

This makes the third baby reveal of the couple’s posted by The Player’s Tribune. The couple’s first two baby announcements were shared by the media outlet. Derek and Hannah welcomed their first daughter, Bella Raine, in August 2017 and their second daughter, Story Grey, in January 2019.
The former New York Yankees player, who wed Hannah in 2016 after two years of dating, opened up about becoming a father following his daughter Story’s birth in 2019. He shared with US Weekly that being a dad is ” awesome. You always hear people say, ‘Wait until you have your own kids,’ but it really is true. I couldn’t be happier. I’ve been blessed to have two beautiful daughters and I’m looking forward to seeing them grow each and every day.”
The Miami Marlins co-owner and his family made a rare appearance earlier this year to celebrate the retired baseball player’s induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame. His parents, wife, and two daughters joined him to celebrate the honor in Cooperstown, New York. He gave a special shoutout to his family during his speech. “My girls, Hannah, Bella, and Story. You know, this day puts an exclamation point on my playing career, which was my first dream. You know, through you all, with you all, I’m living another one.”
