Syd and Shea McGee, stars of the Netflix series Dream Home Makeover and designers for Studio McGee have announced the arrival of their third child together! The couple shared the news that they were expanding their family in January of this year. In their announcement, the couple revealed that their little one made their debut into the world on Sunday.

It’s another girl! The couple have added another daughter to their family, to join their two older daughters Wren, 8, and Ivy, 5. Syd and Shea have chosen to name their third daughter Margot McGee! Margot is a French name that means “Pearl.”
In their announcement, the reality stars shared that they are “over the moon soaking up every bit of her newborn goodness.” Syd and Shea shared with People their thoughts regarding having a newborn in the house again. “There’s a five-year gap between our oldest two and this one,” Shea shared. “Last time I had a baby, I had another baby to take care of too. It was crazy. Now I’m feeling like our girls are really going to take on the responsibility of being helpers. They’re really, really excited.”

When announcing their pregnancy in January, Shea shared the story of how she learned she was pregnant. “We were coming home from a trip and I wasn’t feeling well at all and I told Syd, ‘I just have this feeling. I don’t know why, but I feel like I might be pregnant.’ I made him stop at a convenience store on the way home from the airport to pick up a pregnancy test and then I found out that day.” She revealed that the news came about a week before Thanksgiving.
