Singer-songwriter Elle King is a mother of two! The “High Road” singer took to Instagram to announce the birth of her second baby with her partner Daniel Tooker. “Welcome to the world.”
The musician shared a black and white images of herself holding her newborn with Daniel by her side while at the hospital. “Our family just got a little bit brighter,” she wrote in the caption before revealing her baby’s name. The couple welcomed a baby boy, whose sex they revealed when announcing Elle’s pregnancy last September, and chose to name him Royal. “Welcome to the world Royal Tooker .”
Elle, the daughter of actor Rob Schneider, and the tattoo artist share one other child together. The couple welcomed their first baby, a boy named Lucky Levi, in September 2021. On Thanksgiving last year, the “Ex’s and Oh’s” singer expressed her gratitude for her son writing, “wow actually never been more thankful in my liiife sending love and joy to everybody.”
Elle and Daniel first met in 2019 when she went to his tattoo shop and they got engaged the following year in October 2020. The couple split up some time in 2023 and the singer confirmed their split in April of that year while performing at Stagecoach. The two were separated in the public eye until they announced they were expecting their second baby a year and a half later. On the couple’s reconciliation, Elle shared, “We had to grow. I don’t know. I’ll try anything twice.” She also credits the couple’s son to bringing them back together. “What are we doing? We have everything that both of us have ever wanted right here. Let’s put our weapons down. Come on. This is it. This is life. It doesn’t get better than this. This is worth trying. This is worth wiping a slate clean. This is worth all the effort in the world. My family, this is what deserves all the energy and effort.”
