Revenge co-stars Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman have grown their family! The Resident actress has announced the birth of the couple’s second baby together. “Welcome to the world.”
Emily shared the arrival of the couple’s baby on her Instagram page with black-and-white close-up image of the little one, whose hand rested beside their cheek. The couple welcomed a baby girl and chose to name her Rio Rose. “Welcome to the world baby girl. We love you so much,” Emily wrote in her caption.
The Everwood alum revealed that Rio was born on March 12th, which is just over two weeks after the couple announced their pregnancy on February 24th. The pregnancy announcement post featured two black and white images, one with a pregnant Emily gazing at her baby bump and another of the couple with their first child and their pet dog. The actress wrote at the time, “Not long now.. Ready when you are little love.”
Emily and Josh met on the set of the TV series Revenge and began dating in 2011. The couple tied the knot in 2018, three years after the series ended in 2015. The actors welcomed their first baby together in 2021, a daughter named Iris. While Emily occasionally posts her daughter online, she always keeps her face covered to maintain her privacy. Last Mother’s Day, the Brothers and Sisters alum shared a heartwarming message for her daughter to mark the occasion, “To my sweet Iris, thank you for the heart explosions every day. There really are no words. I love every second of being your Mama. Thank you for choosing me.”
