That’s one baby born camera ready! Good Morning America Weekend host Sara Haines and her husband, Max Shifrin, welcomed their first child on March 5th, and the proud new mother took to Periscope to share some of the exciting moments with her fans!
Baby boy Alec Richard Shifrin arrived a few days ahead of schedule and weighed 7 lbs., 5 oz. The couple chose the first and middle name to honor their fathers.
Following his birth, Haines was back on social media, sharing photos of the baby and thanks for all the well wishes. She wrote, “We did it! On March 5th, 2016 we met our little guy Alec Richard Shifrin…We are excited, exhausted, and possibly still in shock, but soaking it all in.” adding “Thank you for all of the kind messages and encouraging words. It will take a village to raise this little man.”
The ABC News correspondent and Shifrin married in 2014 and announced their pregnancy in September.
