Rapper Gucci Mane, whose real name is Radric Delantic Davis, announced last September that he and his wife Keyshia Ka’Oir were expecting their second child together. Now, the couple has revealed the sex of their little one.
To announce the news, the couple was joined in a photo shoot with their first child together, son Ice, 2. The family was dressed in the same color to disclose the news: pink. It’s a girl! “My beautiful wife & I can’t wait to welcome our baby Girl !! The Wop bout to have a daughter !” the “Rumors” singer captioned his post. This little one will be the rapper’s first daughter, as he shares another son named Keitheon with his ex Sheena Evans.
For the Ka’Oir Fitness founder, this little girl will be her second daughter. Keyshia has three children from a former relationship, daughters Sade and Dior and a son whose name has not been shared. Unlike the couple’s son Ice, who has his own parent-run Instagram page, Keyshia keeps her older children out of the spotlight and has previously shared, “I’m proud to be a mother, but I need it to be private. I don’t need the kids in the limelight.”
Gucci Mane and Keyshia, a former model, began dating after she was featured in the music video for his 2010 song “911 Emergency.” In November 2016, they became engaged, with the rapper proposing during an Atlanta Hawks game. Less than a year later in October 2017, the couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Miami, Florida. The nuptials were aired on live TV during the premiere of “The Mane Event,” the couple’s reality show on BET.
Congratulations to Gucci Mane and Keyshia on the news of their baby girl! We wish them all the best as they prepare to welcome their daughter into the world.
