Hailie Jade Scott is a mom! The podcaster and daughter of rapper Eminem announced the birth of her first baby with her husband Evan McClintock. She also revealed the name of her newborn, which has a nod to her dad.
The Just a Little Shady podcast host took to Instagram to share that she and her husband welcomed their first baby, born on March 14th. She chose today to make the announcement as it was her little one’s original due date. “happy due date//3 weeks earthside.” Hailie had a baby boy, whose sex she revealed in October, and shared two images of her son with a letterboard that revealed his name. The couple named their son Elliot Marshall McClintock. Elliot’s middle name is after his grandfather. Eminem’s given name is Marshall Bruce Mathers, and the moniker is a family name as he is the third in his family to be given the name.
Hailie and Evan announced in early October that they were expecting their first baby together. The podcaster’s father was the first to reveal the news, sharing the announcement in a music video for his song “Temporary.” The mom-to-be has excitedly documented her pregnancy online, sharing photos of her baby bump and gushing about becoming a mom. Early last month, she posted a picture of herself wearing a satin light-blue outfit that showed off her baby bump and held a bouquet of baby’s breath, captioning the post, “so close to meeting baby boy .”
Baby Elliot’s arrival comes less than one year after his parents tied the knot. The couple were married in May 2024 in Battle Creek, MI. Hailie and Evan met while attending college at Michigan State University and got engaged in February 2023. Of her wedding, the influencer gushed on Instagram, “We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration. So so many happy tears were shed, laughs & smiles were had, & so much love was felt. Evan and I are feeling so grateful for all of the family & friends that traveled to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband & wife.”
