Actress Jessie Cave, who portrayed the role of Lavender Brown in the final three installments of the Harry Potter series, has announced the arrival of her fourth child! The actress and her husband, comedian Alfie Brown, welcomed their little one at University College Hospital in London, England and they’ve shared the name of their newborn.
The couple chose the name Becker Brown for their little one and also revealed the inspiration for the name! In the joint announcement post, the couple wrote “Thank you to Alisson Becker,” and included an image of the Brazilian soccer player in the carousel of images. Funnily enough, the couple had joked about their fourth child’s name via Twitter after announcing they were pregnant. At the time, Alfie quipped that they would be naming their fourth child Divock after Belgian soccer player Divock Origi. “The fourth will be called Divock. This is Divock’s foot,” he wrote at the time. Jessie quickly shut down that idea by replying, “The 4th will not be called Divock.” It looks like their little one still ended up being named after a sports player!
Becker’s arrival comes just a few weeks after the Sunset author was hospitalized after contracting COVID-19. “Triage, once again,” she wrote earlier this month in a post accompanied by an image of Jessie from the waist down at the hospital. “Anyone else had covid in 3rd trimester & had it hit them like a tonne of bricks for weeks?”
A few days later, Jessie shared an update and thanked her followers for their well wishes. “I’m actually okay, just weak and not myself and it’s not ideal timing obviously. I think my body is still recovering from covid & norovirus back to back…. And now anaemia. I’ve done lots of research and had lots of advice and, most importantly, been to Holland & Barrett.” The “Whenever It Kicks” podcaster revealed that she was fully vaccinated and “glad” she was.
Jessie and Alfie share three children together: Donnie, 7, Margot, 5, and Tennessee, 1. Originally, the couple had named their third child Abraham “Bam” Benjamin, but they changed his name to Tennessee two months after he was born.
