The Hills: New Beginnings reality star Heidi Montag has revealed that she has undergone surgery to help her conceive her second child. Heidi and her husband, fellow reality star Spencer Pratt, are hoping that this surgery will help them grow their family.

Heidi shared the news by posting a video to her YouTube channel where she took her audience on her surgery journey. The reality star underwent a hysteroscopic polypectomy procedure, where non-cancerous uterine polyps are removed. “I was feeling nervous last night about it, but I’m excited today,” Montag shared in her video. “And I’m hoping that the surgery works and that this is the only reason I haven’t been able to get pregnant. Hopefully, after this, I can get pregnant right away.” In reflecting on her condition, she shared, “I think it’s the perfect timing and meant to be. And so thankful I didn’t have other problems and complications from this.”

After her procedure was finished, she revealed that she was “feeling really good” and “so happy” it was over. She also discussed her recovery and her feelings about what was to come. “All done! And then I can have intercourse in two days, and I’m ovulating. So hopefully, this is the time. But just praying that it’s God’s timing. I’m just so happy to have this done.”

Heidi and Spencer notoriously began dating while Heidi was filming The Hills alongside her former friend Lauren Conrad. The couple tied the knot in 2008 and welcomed their first child together, a son named Gunner Stone, in October of 2017.

We wish Heidi a healthy recovery from her procedure and lots of luck in conceiving her second child.
