Congratulations to actress Hilary Duff and her musician boyfriend Matthew Koma — the couple recently welcomed their first child together, a baby girl!
Hilary took to Instagram to share the happy baby news and the first pic of the couple with their new arrival, who was born on October 25. She also revealed the unique baby name they chose.
Hilary captioned the pic: “Banks Violet Bair this little bit has fully stolen our hearts! She joined our world at home on Thursday afternoon and is absolute magic.”
The name Banks is of English origin, meaning “edge of the river.”
Matthew posted the same adorable photo on Instagram, writing: “We welcome a beautiful daughter, little sister, and best friend for life. Could not possibly be more grateful for our growing family… Cloud ten.”
Hilary has a son, Luca, 6, from her previous marriage to hockey player Mike Comrie.
