Actor Wes Chatham and his wife, former American Ninja Warrior host Jenn Brown, have welcomed their second son! Rhett Jameson Chatham weighed 7 lbs., 13 oz. and measured 201/2 inches long.
According to babynames.com, the name Rhett is of English origin and means “counsel or advice.” The name is heavily linked to the character Rhett Butler from the novel and film Gone with the Wind. There is a possibility that the Hunger Games star and Georgia native chose it as a nod to his southern roots.
Rhett is the second child for the couple, who have been married since 2012. His big brother John Nash is 18-months old.
Luckily for the couple, Rhett’s birth was much different from John’s, who was born 5 1/2 weeks premature. The sportscaster told Celebrity Baby Scoop, “Wes had literally gotten on a plane to go back to Canada after the Mockingjay premiere on Saturday and my water broke on Sunday.” She told People, “We are so glad Wes was able to witness the birth of our newborn son this time!”
