Influencer Nabela Noor has welcomed her first child! Nabela, a self-love advocate, and her husband Seth Martin have welcomed their first child together after struggling for six years to conceive. The children’s book author shared all the details about her new arrival… including the special meaning behind the name choice.
Nabela, who announced her pregnancy in September of last year, revealed she would be welcoming a baby girl. Nabela and Seth’s daughter made her arrival on March 16th and weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces at birth.
The couple chose to name their daughter Amalia Rana. The Saara & Begum founder revealed the touching inspiration for Amalia’s name. “Our daughter’s name, just like her, was a gift from God. Several weeks after our miscarriage, the name Amalia came into my heart like a gentle whisper. Confused and still freshly heartbroken from our loss, I looked up the meaning and jotted it down in my Baby Names list… The name meant ‘God’s Work’ and ‘Dream/Aspiration.'”
As it turned out, this little moment was kismet for Nabela. “A few days later, I found out I was pregnant with our rainbow baby. Completely by surprise. Beyond our understanding. Simply put, it was God’s work. Our greatest dream fulfilled. She was our Amalia. And we are so thankful to be her Dad & Ammu.”
When she announced her pregnancy in September, the “Beautifully Me” author shared her thoughts on the surprise pregnancy with People. “This is our rainbow baby after our very public, devastating miscarriage. This miracle pregnancy came just a little over 2 and a half weeks after our miscarriage as a complete and total surprise and miracle. Our rainbow baby came to us when we were in the middle of our deepest storm and completely took us by surprise.”
Congratulations to Nabela and Seth on the arrival of baby Amalia! We wish them lots of love in their new role as parents.
