Bachelor in Paradise couple Jade (née Roper) and Tanner Tolbert are choosing a name for their third child in a rather unique manner. They’re asking their fans to help them!

Jade and Tanner, who met on the second season of Bachelor in Paradise announced in May that they were expecting their third child together.

HERE WE GROW AGAIN!!! It feels so good to be able to finally talk about this pregnancy! If you noticed I haven’t been on social media much the past couple of months, it’s because I was dealing with terrible nausea and fatigue, on top of taking care of two kiddos during a pandemic. Although this time has its uncertainties, we are so thankful and excited for this baby. I truly believe babies being born during this time are here for a special reason, to be light workers. We are beyond happy to love another baby, to give Emmy and Brooks another sibling and to have our children be so close! #partyof5 #babynumber3

The couple share two children together: a daughter, Emerson “Emmy” Avery, and a son, Brooks Easton. In July, they announced that their third child would be another boy!

We’re having…another BOY!! We were completely surprised and we are so so excited!! My bet would have been on girl (this pregnancy has been more similar to Emmy’s), and sweet Emerson was sure hoping for a sister! It might take her awhile to understand the baby in mommy’s belly is NOT a sister. Lol. 🤣 Also, funny story, our reveal for the sex of the baby was a complete Pinterest FAIL! Hahaha. I tried to make some sort of volcano eruption science project happen, but it came out like a flat pancake!! So much for trying to be creative and getting the kids involved, or so I thought. Our photographers had a powder cannon in their car, so we tried a round 2, mostly for pretty photos. Leave it to a dad to shoot it off in our toddler’s face! 😂😂 Poor Emmy! 🙈🙈 She got over it quickly though and we had a fun day laughing and enjoying all the surprises of the day! Big thanks to @nikkiryanphotography and @mccallmediamanagement for taking the photos, being safe, and being patient with our craziness! ❤️❤️ Can’t wait to love on our little guy!

For baby number 3, the couple is enlisting the help of their fans to choose a name. They actually used this same method for choosing their first son’s name. So, how does it work? The couple is using a bracket-style method to narrow down the names they like for their fans to pick from. Whichever name wins will be what the Tolbert’s name their son!

Some of the names up for consideration are James, Atticus, Dean, Reed, and Thatcher. This is definitely a unique and fun way to name a baby! We look forward to learning what the couple ultimately name their second son.
