Congratulations to Mom star Jaime Pressly, who is pregnant with twin boys! She and boyfriend Hamzi Hijazi confirmed the happy news to People.com.
The actress told the site: “Twins don’t run on either side of our families so we were completely shocked. This wasn’t IVF or anything like that. It was just a shock, and I’m like, ‘Doctor, that’s impossible!’”
She and her boyfriend have been trying to get pregnant “for quite a while,” so Pressly noted that having twins is “God cutting me some slack.”
Jaime also explained, “I’ve always wanted three kids and the older I’m getting, I’m like, ‘Okay, maybe just one more would be nice.’ I was getting a little sad, but it was like, ‘We’ll give you two in one. You don’t have to do another pregnancy.’”
Jaime also shared the news on Instagram, posing with the pregnancy test and writing: “Big news for our family! Dezi’s going to be a big brother, times 2! Get all the details in my interview with @people (link in bio).”
Jaime’s son, Dezi James, from a previous relationship, is 10-years-old.
