CSI: Cyber star James Van Der Beek and his wife Kimberly, have announced the birth of their fourth child – a daughter named Emilia.

The Dawson’s Creek alumni took to Instagram with the announcement, “Happy to share that two days ago, Kimberly and I were lucky enough to welcome a little baby girl into the world…Emilia Van Der Beek.”

Little Amelia was born at home, as were their three other children: Olivia (5), Joshua (4), and Annabel (2).  James and Kimberly married in a small Kabbalah ceremony in Tel Aviv, Israel in 2010.

The name Emilia (more frequently spelled with an ‘A’) is Latin based and means, “To Strive Or Excel Or Rival.”  According to BabyNames.com, “When combined with its most common other spelling, Amelia, it is #2 in BabyNames.com’s most popular names of 2014.  However, on its on, it was the 208th most popular name in the United States in 2013.”
