Reality stars Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner are growing their family! The couple took to social media to reveal that Jamie, who first rose to stardom after appearing on season 16 of The Bachelor, is pregnant with the couple’s third baby together. “I’M FINALLY PREGNANT!!!”
Prior to sharing their family’s news, the couple posted a teaser on Instagram that they had a “big announcement” to share. The teaser let their audience know to check out their YouTube channel Hanging With The Hehner’s for the news. The teaser was a video of the couple dancing with their two children and the whole family was dressed in burgundy colors. Jamie and Doug, who met and married on the Lifetime reality series Married at First Sight in 2014, share daughter Henley Grace, 6, and son Hendrix Douglas, 3.
Jamie has been vocal about trying to conceive her third baby and was elated to share that she was now pregnant. In a post on Instagram, the reality star reveled in her excitement and shared a bit about her journey to conceive over the past three years. ” I wanna scream it from the roof tops!!! I cant thank YOU enough for praying for us! GOD IS GOOD!!! It’s been over three years of trying. I’ve been diagnosed with secondary infertility, a blocked fallopian tube, MTHFR, hypothyroidism, ‘low-normal’ AMH, advanced maternal age, and I’m probably missing something else that was thrown at us ….. BUT GOD WILL WORK MIRACLES IF YOU BELIEVE!”
She went on to share that the couple was able to conceive naturally and that she empathized with others going through a similar experience. “I’m still a bit in shock that we conceived NATURALLY. If you’ve been diagnosed with infertility or secondary infertility my heart BREAKS for you. It’s the worst news ….. but don’t lose hope.”
