Singer Jana Kramer is adding a bundle of joy to her family! The “Let It Burn” singer has announced she is pregnant with her third baby, which will be her first child with her fiancé Allan Russell, a former soccer player. Jana and Allan announced they were engaged on May 25th.
To announce the news, the “One Tree Hill” alum partnered with ClearBlue and posted an image of her and Allan with a positive pregnancy test. “Beyond blessed and grateful for this baby to be a part of our story,” she wrote in her caption, “I never thought I would see the word pregnant again on a test, but thankful for @clearblue for making it as clear as ever.” The “Whine Down” podcast host shares two children with her ex-husband Mike Caussin, 7-year-old Jolie and 4-year-old Jace. Allan has a 16-year-old child from a previous relationship.
“The Next Chapter” author spoke exclusively with PEOPLE about starting a family with Allan, who first confirmed her relationship with the soccer player this January. “I didn’t think it would ever happen again, if I’m being honest. I’ve been through a lot, so this has just been a really beautiful thing. I’m letting it all sink in. It’s everything I’ve wanted and more. Allan was so sweet. He wrote me this little sticky note saying, ‘You deserve the happy ending.'”
Jana has been open in the past about suffering miscarriages and going through IVF. She has suffered a total of five losses, with three being miscarriages and two chemical pregnancies. She had wondered if her and Allan would even be able to have children together. “I’ve had miscarriages, so I didn’t even know if it was possible. I’m like, yes, it’d be beautiful for us to create something because I love this man. It would be the silver lining with everything that happened, but I’d always get kind of down about it because I didn’t know if I was capable of carrying a pregnancy again.”
