Actress Jana Kramer is a mother of three! The One Tree Hill alum has welcomed her third baby, her first with her fiance Allan Russell, a former professional soccer player. “We feel blessed to have been given the chance to create something so special together,” the couple shared in a statement with PEOPLE.
On November 13th, Jana and Allan have welcomed a baby boy, news they had shared in June weeks after announcing their pregnancy. The couple chose to name their first baby together Roman James Russell. On her podcast The Whine Down with Jana Kramer, she had discussed a variety of name options and had been leaning towards names that began with J or A. However, it seems the couple opted for a first and last name with alliteration. On the name choice, the “Let It Burn” singer revealed, “The name Roman really isn’t inspired by anyone, it’s just a strong name that we both love, but James was both of our Grandpa’s names, so that was a nod to them.”
Jana and Allan both have children from previous relationships. Jana shares a daughter named Jolie, 7, and a son named Jace, 4, with former NFL player Michael Caussin. Allan has a 16-year-old child from a previous relationship. Earlier this month, Jana shared a series of black and white photos of herself with her children and Allan and reflected on her excitement for the month ahead. “November. I can’t believe THE month is already here. Feels like it was just end of march when we found out about 👶🏼 and now the big month is finally here.” Previously, Jana had revealed that she was due on December 2nd and added to the post, “because of growing fibroid we are doing c section earlier.”
