Janet Jackson has finally confirmed her pregnancy, sharing an official announcement and a baby bump pic.
The mommy-to-be looks radiant in the photo she shared with People.com, holding her precious baby tummy with one hand, while maintaining a bit of Janet sass with the other hand on her hip. She told People, “We thank God for our blessing.”
While Janet has kept mum about becoming a mum, pics of the pregnant singer shopping for baby furniture and gear in London made the rounds last month.
Despite Janet’s silence on the subject, her brother, Tito, told Andy Cohen Live in June, “She’s doing very well. She’s taking it easy,” noting that she is “hoping for a healthy baby.”
Brother Jermaine talked about the baby news in May, telling People.com: “My sister Janet is my baby. She is fine but she’s having a baby. A baby having a baby. We look at her like our little baby and now she’s grown and having a baby,”
In April, Janet postponed her Unbreakable world tour to focus on “planning our family.” This is Janet and husband Wissam Al Mana’s first child.
