Actress Jenna Dewan has grown her family by one more! The Rookie star and her partner Steven Kazee welcomed their second baby together, Jenna’s third, on June 14th. “Our family is now whole.”
Jenna announced she was expecting her last baby in January and that she and Steven decided to learn their baby’s sex when they were born. The couple, who have been together since 2018, ended up having a baby girl! They chose to name her Rhiannon Lee Kathryn Kazee. In an Instagram Story, the Devil on My Doorstep star hinted at two sources of inspiration for Rhiannon’s name. The first was the Fleetwood Mac song “Rhiannon” and the second from a name book that described the name Rhiannon to mean “the divine queen of faeries.” Rhiannon shares her middle name Lee with Jenna.
In her post, Jenna gushed about her new baby girl writing, “From the moment you arrived, you have brought immense joy and love into our lives… your gentle grace, sweetness, and beauty have captivated our entire family. Our hearts are overflowing with love, and we are truly blessed by your presence. Welcome to our world baby girl.” The Step Up alum has one other child with Steven, a son named Callum born in March 2020. The actress also shared an 11-year-old daughter named Everly with actor Channing Tatum.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Jenna opened up about co-parenting with her Step Up co-star. “Like everything else in life, you learn as you go. You shift and evolve and you adapt to how life is presenting itself to you. That includes getting the new normal of a blended family.” What challenges she may be facing with her family, the actress firmly believes that, “Kids always come first. How you feel about your kids. How you treat your kids. Kids always come first above everything else.”
