Actress Jenna Ushkowitz is growing her family! Jenna, most notably known for portraying the role of Tina Cohen-Chang in the TV series Glee, took to Instagram to reveal she and her husband David Stanley are expecting their second baby. “We are pregnant and so excited and grateful.”
Jenna teased in her post that growing her family “has been a journey, (I will share more soon) but in the meantime, enjoying this exciting time.” The And That’s What You REALLY Missed podcast host partnered with ClearBlue to announce her baby news and gave a shout-out to the brand in her post writing, “Grateful to Clearblue for providing me with a clear result and giving me 100% confidence.”
In an interview with PEOPLE, Jenna revealed how she learned of her pregnancy. “I was actually on vacation in New York visiting my family at the time. And when I was packing, I had a Clearblue Early Digital Pregnancy Test in my closet and I was like, ‘Let me just pack it just in case.'” The Princess Power voiceover actress continued, “So I packed it and the day before we left the trip, I was like, ‘Something feels very familiar about this feeling and let me just take this test.’ I did. And when pregnant came up, my jaw dropped. I was shocked. And then overjoyed, of course.”
Jenna and David welcomed their first baby together in June 2022, a daughter named Emma. The couple is “so excited for our daughter to be a big sister and to expand our family. It’s just really, really special.” The actress shared that Emma hasn’t fully grasped the concept, she “understands that there’s a baby in mommy’s belly.” Jenna shared that Emma says, “‘I’m a big girl. I’m a big sister.’ And she understands baby. So to an extent, she knows what’s going on. She’ll figure it out real soon.” The Glee star didn’t share any details about her new baby including their sex or due date.
Congratulations to Jenna and David on the news of baby number 2!
