Actress Jennifer Lawrence is a mother of two! The No Hard Feelings star has reportedly given birth to her second baby with her husband Cooke Maroney. The news was revealed after the couple were spotted in New York City.
Yesterday, the Hunger Games alum and her art gallerist husband were spotted taking a walk in New York City following the birth of their second baby. Sources confirmed the couple’s baby news to PEOPLE. No details are known about the couple’s newborn yet, including their birth date, sex, or baby name. The actress is notoriously private regarding her personal life, so the lack of information about her little one isn’t surprising.
The Causeway star revealed her pregnancy news in October in an interview with Vogue. At the time, a source shared that the actress was “thrilled to be pregnant again.” They went on to share that Jennifer “loves being a mom. It feels like the perfect timing to her. Her son will 3 when the new baby arrives.” Jennifer and Cooke welcomed their first baby together in 2022, a son named Cy. Their son was named after one of Cooke’s favorite artists, Cy Twombly. The couple had their first baby two and a half years after tying the knot. They married at the Belcourt Mansion in Newport, Rhode Island in October 2019.
Last year, the Silver Linings Playbook star spoke with fellow actress Cameron Diaz for Interview magazine about how becoming a mother changed how she approached new projects, opting to be more selective than she would before motherhood. “There’s no squeezing when you have a baby,” she explained. “There’s just home, and it’s the best. It definitely helps weed out projects: ‘Yes. No. Yes. No. Yes. No. Is this worth being away from my child for half the day?'”
Congratulations to Jennifer and Cooke on the birth of their second baby!
