Counting On star Jeremiah Duggar announced in August that he and his wife Hannah Wissmann were expecting their first child together. Today, the couple announced the sex of their little one and shared the moment they learned the news.

It’s a girl! “We cannot wait to meet our sweet baby GIRL!!!!” Hannah captioned the joint Instagram post. The couple shared images of them in a field surrounded by pink confetti. The final slide of their post featured a video of the moment they learned they would be welcoming a daughter. A helicopter flew above them and dropped a ball that released pink dust. The couple embraced excitedly upon learning the news while pink confetti was dropped from the helicopter to surround them. “Baby girl, you are so, SO loved!!”

The couple’s reveal party was thrown by Hannah’s sister Susanna and Hannah shared a note of thanks in her announcement post writing, “It was extremely special to have family and friends come celebrate with us!! @sus.wiss put together such a great reveal and so many helped make it a fun evening and clean it all up afterwards.”

Jeremiah, a flight instructor, and Hannah began courting in 2021 and the reality star popped the question in January of this year. The couple was married just a few months later on March 26 at First Baptist Church in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. A few days after their nuptials, Hannah shared a picture of her and Jeremiah from their wedding day alongside a touching caption that read, “Still can’t believe how absolutely perfect our wedding day was!! I’m literally getting tears just looking through the pictures. God answered so many prayers!! I just wish I could relive every single moment over again. A huge thank you to each person that added to the specialness of the day.”

Congratulations to Jeremiah and Hannah on the news of their daughter! We wish them all the best as they prepare to welcome her into the world.
