Actor Josh Duhamel has added another bundle of joy to his family! The Shotgun Wedding star and his wife Audra Mari have announced the birth of their first baby together, baby number 2 for the actor. The couple’s little one arrived on January 11th.

To reveal their baby’s arrival, the couple shared a joint post on Instagram showing a black and white image of their newborn’s feet. Josh and Audra welcomed a baby boy and chose to name him Shepherd Lawrence Duhamel. Shepard’s middle name is after his grandfather, Josh’s father Lawrence, who goes by Larry.

While Shepard is Audra’s first baby, he is Josh’s second. The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers star shares a 10-year-old son named Axl with his ex-wife Fergie. In an interview with Parade last year, the actor revealed how his firstborn reacted to learning he would become a big brother. “”He’s like, ‘Wait, now, am I going to be — You’re still going to love me, though, too, right?'” the Transformers star recalled. “I was like, ‘Of course, I’m going to still love you.’ And he’s like, ‘I’m still going to be your firstborn son, though, right?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, you’re still the firstborn son!'” Josh went on to share how he thought Axl would be as a big brother. “He’s a really sweet kid. And he loves babies! I was the same way at his age. I just have always loved babies. There’s something about them. And he’s really good with younger kids. So I think he’s going to be a great older brother.”

Josh began dating the former Miss World America in 2019. On Audra’s 28th birthday in January 2022, the actor proposed and the two tied the knot a few months later in Fargo, North Dakota in September. The couple revealed one year later they were expecting a baby.

Congratulations to Josh and Audra on the arrival of their baby boy!
