Joy-Anna Duggar welcomed her second child with her husband Austin Forsyth last week.
They became the proud parents of a baby girl after tragically suffering a miscarriage in July of 2019. In announcing the birth of their daughter, the couple played it very coy. They shared that she arrived on August 21st at 2:12pm weighing 8lbs 5oz and was 19.5″ long at birth, but they didn’t share her name… yet. They did say that more updates were coming soon. Well, the update is here! They’ve officially shared her name: Evelyn Mae Forsyth.
The couple even have a nickname picked out for her already. “We had a hard time deciding but after a few days finally settled on ‘Evy Mae’ and we think it fits her perfectly!” Joy-Anna also shared that she and Austin wanted to “her name to be perfect and elegant!” The name Evelyn certainly fits the bill! The name Evelyn means Beautiful Bird and is of English origin.
We’re so happy to Joy-Anna and Austin and are glad they were able to welcome their rainbow baby. We wish them all the best as they welcome Evelyn into their home and become a family of four.
