Supermodel Karlie Kloss welcomed her first child with her husband, businessman Joshua Kushner, in March. Joshua made the announcement on his Instagram page, which has since been deleted, on March 15th. He simply shared an image of his newborn’s feet welcoming his little one to the world. Now, Karlie has finally shared details about her newborn!
The supermodel shared an image holding her newborn’s hand. Karlie was also wearing a gold ring with the words “mama” written on it. Karlie and Joshua are the proud parents of a baby boy! Their son arrived on March 11, 2021, and they’ve chosen to name him Levi Joseph. Levi and Joseph are both Hebrew names. Levi means “Joined in Harmony” while Joseph means “God Will Increase.” Levi’s middle name of Joseph is likely a nod to Joshua’s grandfather, Joseph Berkowitz.
The post about her newborn is the first post the supermodel has made since early January 2021, where she shared a post congratulating President Biden and Vice President Harris. “Your leadership gives me hope,” she wrote.
Before Joshua, who is the younger brother of Ivanka Trump’s husband Jared, had posted a few pictures of Karlie during her pregnancy on his now-deleted Instagram page. Karlie didn’t document much of her pregnancy on her social media account, she’s quite notorious for her privacy. But, she did share a stunning image of herself in a yellow dress while holding her growing baby bump last Thanksgiving.
Congratulations again to the couple! We hope Karlie and Joshua have enjoyed their first month as parents to baby Levi and wish them lots of love as they settle into life as parents.
