Kelsey Parker, the widow of The Wanted singer’s Tom Parker, announced she is pregnant with her third baby. The owner of the K2K Performing Arts School shared on Instagram that she and her boyfriend Will Lindsay are expecting their first baby together. “I’ve been blessed with another.”
Kelsey and Tom welcomed two children together during their relationship: a daughter named Aurelia, 5, and a son named Bodhi, 4. The singer passed away in 2022 at age 33 of an inoperable brain tumor. Before he passed away, the couple had hoped to grow their family. “Tom and I always said we wanted four – but life had other plans.”
In discussing her pregnancy, Kelsey shared “this is amazing but also bittersweet. The joys of finding out I’m pregnant and moving forward with my life, while thinking, ‘My life could have been so different.’ I’ve felt every emotion under the sun. I’m still getting my head around it but I’m so excited. And I know I’m putting myself out there, telling people. I just want everyone to be as happy as I am.” Kelsey met and fell in love with Will, a tree surgeon, last year and he moved into the business owner’s home she once shared with Tom.
Kelsey shared that she and Will haven’t learned their baby’s sex yet, despite having received the results, and aren’t sure if they want to know before Kelsey gives birth. “We’re undecided on whether we’re going to look at it yet. We’re just going to see how the journey goes.” Aurelia has suggested the name Parker for her new sibling to honor her father, and it’s a moniker the couple is considering.
As for how Tom’s family feels about the news, Kelsey shared his mother’s reaction when learning about Kelsey’s pregnancy. “Tom’s mum Noreen gave me her blessing instantly. She can’t wait to have another grandchild. All I care about is that both our families and Tom’s family are happy. Noreen is the most amazing lady. After Tom passed, she said to me, ‘As long as you’re happy Kels, whatever you do, we will always support you and be happy for you.’ We’ve all been through so much together.”
