Reality star Khloé Kardashian is growing her family! News broke this evening that Khloé is expecting her second child via surrogate with her on-again, off-again partner Tristian Thompson. The couple share a four-year-old daughter named True.
Multiple sources have revealed Khloé’s news to media outlets. A rep for the Kardashians star confirmed with People that “True will have a sibling who was conceived in November.” The rep also shared that “Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing.” TMZ reported that the birth of Khloe’s second child is likely to occur soon and another source told the outlet that it’s likely the surrogate has already given birth. Neither Khloé or Tristian has announced the news publicly.
While Khloé and Tristian have been in an on-again, off-again relationship since 2016, it was revealed in January that the couple called it quits. A rep for Khloé stressed that the couple is no longer in a romantic relationship sharing, “Khloe and Tristan are not back together and have not spoken since December outside of co-parenting matters. The baby was conceived via surrogate before it was revealed to Khloe and the public that Tristan was having a baby with someone else in December.” The couple’s surrogate became pregnant in November while they were still romantically involved. However, it was revealed in December that Tristian had fathered another child with Maralee Nichols. That child was born on December 1st of last year.
During the final season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloé opened up about her challenges to grow a family. Her doctor shared with her that she would likely have a high-risk pregnancy should become pregnant again. Khloé further explained that “it’s like an 80-something percent chance that I will miscarry. I almost miscarried with True at the beginning.” Later in the episode, the Good American founder shared, “This is all really shocking to me. All I’m trying to do is bring more love into my life and into my family, and I just seem to be running into more and more roadblocks. It’s really hard for me to digest.” Khloé’s sister Kim Kardashian also welcomed children, her two youngest children, via surrogate with her ex-husband Kanye West.
