Last week, rumors circulated online that Mason Disick, the son of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, had a baby. The reality star took to Instagram to address the viral rumors. “I rarely address rumors or conspiracies regarding myself or my family, but this is about my child.”
In a text-based post shared to her Instagram Stories, The Kardashains star started by sharing that she rarely addresses these types of rumors online but felt it important to do so because these were about her son. “It feels wrong to let anyone think for a second that these lies are remotely true. They are not.” She emphasized her point writing, “Mason does not have a child.”
About the source of the rumors, the Lemme founder wrote, “These accounts that pretend to be him are definitely not. They are FAKE.” She continued by expressing Mason, 15, and his request for privacy. “My son really values his privacy, and I am asking all media to please be respectful: he is a kid with feelings and a beautiful life ahead of him. Please stop spreading false narratives and spinning lies.” She ended her post by requesting, “And to all the other people making videos about my kids (who, by the way, are minors), please stop and leave them alone.” In addition to Mason, Kourtney shares daughter Penelope and son Reign with her ex Scott Disick and she shares a son named Rocky with her husband Travis Barker.
In recent years, Mason has pulled back from leading a public life and no longer appears on the family’s reality TV series. He appears in family photos online here and there and launched his own Instagram page last May. However, he only shared a few posts before stopping new updates.
